General Information

This first section of the book is, itself, broken down into two parts. There is advice for what to prepare before leaving home, from vehicle procurement options (renting vs buying) to kitting out the vehicle (batteries, tools etc) and getting documents in order (insurance, health stuff and bringing animals to Portugal).

There is also an On the Road part. This deals with issues you will face when you are in Portugal. There is a motorhome phrase book, so you'll know how to ask for toilet blue, even if you don't know how to say good morning. The On the Road section includes driving information verified by the ACP (the Portuguese AA).
